About

Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Sameer Assanie is an attorney with a passion for working on behalf of his clients. Sameer hails from a family with deep knowledge of personal injury law and vast experience assisting injured drivers and passengers receive the medical care they need to improve their health and secure the compensation they deserve.

Since joining J. Alexander Law, Sameer has overseen and assisted in dozens of cases involving car accidents, 18-wheeler collisions, bicyclists, and pedestrians. He has won judgements for his clients at trial, including results over policy limits, and has successfully argued motions that led to advantageous positions for his clients.

Before joining the legal profession, Sameer served as communications director to a senior member of the United States House of Representatives, in Washington, D.C., and has extensive experience working in federal, state, and county government.

Sameer also possesses multiple judicial internships on his resume with a long-tenured Dallas County trial judge. His past professional experience in government has made him an asset in understanding the intricacies of the judicial system and his knowledge benefits him in delivering successful verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Sameer is the proud son of immigrants and is able to assist clients in Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati, and Sindhi. Aside from practicing law, Sameer is a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoys writing and photography.
